The latest RipNAS software release R1.7 comes with many new features:

• automatic daily USB backup
• web administration and configuration

• invite a friend to logon remotely with team viewer

With the web browser you can login from any PC in the network and configure and administrate the RipNAS (WHS console, backup, invite a friend).

The USB backup software detects automatically, if a USB drive is connected and copies the latest music files on a daily basis. This way the external drive is updated every day.

With the provided link to mp3 tag you can install it and edit metadata and covers after ripping.

With Team Viewer you can ask any friend to logon over the internet into the RipNAS and help you to configure.

With the WHS console you can change audio file formats, switch to silent mode or just watch the progress during ripping.

Release note: this software release is available from 08.02.2010. Any changes to the software configuration can lead to operation failures of the RipNAS. To restore factory settings you need to backup the music files first and restore the system with Rescue CD set.
