LAG-FREE PRECISION The 3200dpi Pro-Optic R2 Gaming Sensor plays in the champions' league of optical sensors, offering lag-free precision. Maximum speed has been increased to 130 inches per second, with maximum acceleration also being raised to 30G. And just like the current generation of all other ROCCAT™ gaming mice, the polling rate is an unprecedented 1000Hz.
ROCCAT™ DRIVER The Kova[+] now also comes with a feature-rich driver package, allowing precise adjustment of the sensitivity and DPI settings. All seven buttons plus the mouse wheel can be assigned a multitude of functions and custom macros as well as predefined ROCCAT™ Presets. Creating Game Profiles makes things easier when starting a game as the Game Profiles automatically load settings that are specific to the particular game when the game starts.
EASYSHIFT[+]™ BUTTON The EasyShift[+]™ button doesn't just give you access to seven mouse buttons plus the mouse wheel – you get direct access to 16 functions at the touch of a button. In terms of the way it works, the EasyShift[+]™ button is very similar to the Shift key on a keyboard. If you hold down the EasyShift[+]™ button and press one of the other standard mouse buttons at the same time, you execute a second function (=dual-assignment).
SOUND FEEDBACK The Kova[+] also features Sound Feedback – a new feature first introduced on the ROCCAT™ Kone[+]. The mouse informs you of any changes to the dpi, profile or sensitivity settings by reading them out aloud. The advantage of this is that there are no additional displays to distract you from the gameplay so your full attention remains on the screen.
MULTICOLOR LIGHT SYSTEM A multicolor LED system allows the mouse to light up in seven different colors – plus the mouse can be further personalized with color rotation and other light effects using the driver. You can even assign colors to profiles, so when you switch profiles, the color changes too.
V-SHAPE FOR LEFT OR RIGHT-HANDED USE The Kova[+] sits just as nicely in the left or right hand. Thanks to the incorporation of a slightly raised ridge on the upper casing, the Kova[+] can be controlled with maximum precision. The Griptech side areas which extend all the way to the top of the Kova[+] allow the mouse to be held securely when lifting it. In addition, the new Soft-Touch Coating offers amazing grip, complementing the non-slip performance of the familiar solid rubber Griptech side areas.

The perfect design with 7 (+2) buttons, but more functions than ever before?
It’s possible with the ROCCAT™ Kova[+], thanks to the EasyShift[+]™ button. FROM OFFICE TO GAMING ... Over the years, the computer mouse has developed – depending on its area of use – from a 2-button mouse into a real marvel of buttons and functions. Gamers in particular like to have a load of buttons at their disposal so that they can selectively and quickly execute as many commands as possible.
THE PROBLEM: ACCESSING THE BUTTONS
Nowadays, some gaming mice are often teeming with extra buttons so that you can access as many commands as possible at the same time – with the end result being that every usable piece of real estate on a mouse has been utilized to the max making it increasingly difficult to accommodate new buttons from an ergonomic design perspective. As a result, they are increasingly difficult to access with your fingers – making it more complicated to use the mouse and increasing the time it takes to get used to the mouse after you’ve bought it.
So, how can you double the number of button functions on a mouse without needing to sacrifice ease of use, accessibility and ergonomics?
THE SOLUTION: ROCCAT™ EASYSHIFT[+]™
ROCCAT™ manages to overcome this problem with a sophisticated invention – the EasyShift[+]™ Button Duplicator. That’s the name of the practical side button on the mouse which doubles the amount of functions on the Kova[+] in one fell-swoop.
EASYSHIFT[+]™: ASSIGN TWO FUNCTIONS TO THE MOUSE BUTTONS
EasyShift[+] ™ allows two functions to be assigned to the mouse buttons and mouse wheel. In terms of the way it works, the EasyShift[+]™ button is very similar to the Shift key on a keyboard. If you hold down the EasyShift[+]™ button on the Kova[+] and press one of the other standard mouse buttons at the same time, you execute a second function (=dual-assignment).
This makes it possible to assign each individual mouse button, as well as the mouse wheel (up/down/depressed), not just one, but two individual functions – increasing the number of functions that are available at any one time from 9 to 16. What's more, the driver includes handy, predefined functions for each mouse button plus the mouse wheel (see table) – you can even assign your own macros to the buttons.
EASYWHEEL In addition to EasyShift[+]™, the Kova[+] also comes with the EasyWheel function. Keep the EasyWheel button held depressed and you can adjust the volume level, change the sensitivity setting, switch between Game Profiles and even use Aero Flip 3D function in Windows 7 just by scrolling the mouse wheel. |
