Deluxe Crimp Tool for Molex Pins HT-225D

Deluxe Molex hand crimper tool. Used for 18-30 AWG guage wire with all Molex type pins we sell including ATX PSU and Hard Disk 4-pin 'Molex' pins - the most popular pins commonly used in computer cabling.

# Accepts wire range of 18-30 AWG.
# Accepts material thickness of 0.15-0.40mm and conductor barrel length of 2.00-3.50mm.
# Superior ratchet action design crimp mechanism
# Insulated handles
# Ideal for cable construction or repair and prototyping new Mods.

Crimping procedure:
# Select the appropriate Molex terminal . Verify that the wire size, terminal material thickness, and conductor barrel length, are within the specifications for this tool.
# Strip the wire to the proper strip length. Open the tool handles and insert the terminal into the desired conductor profile. Squeeze the tool handles together just enough to allow the terminal barrel to touch the top of the profile radii.

Detail on crimping pins for ATX Connector

Holding the tool in your right hand, insert the pin into the larger opening.
Pin should protrude from the right side of the tool.
Hold pin in place with the first ratchet click of the tool.
Insert the wire into the pin, ensuring the insulation of the wire is in the rearmost part of the pin (it's important not to bare the wire insulation back too much, about 4mm is about right)
